What is Metabase?

Metabase is the centralized analytics platform for IS4H Bahamas. It empowers Ministry of Health and Wellness teams to explore, analyse, and visualize real-time health data from systems like BahamasEMR+, SIP+, and the Bahamas National Patient Portal—without needing to write code.

Goal: Turn health data into actionable insights that improve service delivery, planning, and policy decisions across The Bahamas.

• 1. Simple, No-Code Data Exploration
  • Use point-and-click tools to explore data without SQL knowledge.
  • Filter, group, and summarize data by date, clinic, district, diagnosis, etc.
  • Ideal for clinic managers, health administrators, and program officers.
  • Example: “How many antenatal patients visited Gambier Clinic last month?” → Select table → apply filters → view results.
